Animal abuse has taken a new dimension in Nigeria as celebrities were seen posing with Dog- meat pepper soup in an eatery.
It is most disturbing that while many civilized countries are doing away with eating animal meat and adopting plant based foods, some celebrities in Nigeria are now showing off with dog meat .
It is not a civility but an act of cruelty for man to be killing companions and wild animals who were made to be part of our ecosystem.
A video was going round on the social media platforms recently introducing an Influencer, Enioluwa to some varieties of indigenous delicacies that include dog meat Sauce by the Super Chef as part of what she sells in her restaurant.
The Super Chef is from Akwa Ibom State where eating dog meat was never a taboo, but the act must not be elevated to an intolerable situation as dogs deserve to live like we humans .
Though lovers all over the country have troupes to the social media platforms to condemned the super chef for breeding dogs for food restaurants business.
